I didn’t say how much, but a win is a win right ? Nope. Not in the lottery. A win is $1000, $10,000, or $1,000,000. I won $7. The work pool that I entered into won $8. That’s a grand total of $15 !!
There was a ” I WON ! ! ” moment there for a bit. I matched the power ball #32, then I saw 59, and I jumped outta my seat a little. Then I saw 58 and then that’s when I really got excited. I knew I hadn’t won the jackpot, but I thought I started to smell ten 100 dollar bills, or maybe even just one 100 dollar bill.
Low and behold, matching 3 numbers does not get you anything. You must match at least 4 numbers and the power ball to get some big money. It’s worth it. That one set of numbers can change your life. I recommend getting in on company pots. That way you can have more chances to win, but spend the same money. I only recommend doing this when the pot is around 3 or 4 million. Best best is to take the cash option. Keep the number of participants low. We had 4 people buy in on this pot at work. The 3 guys who won this week’s power ball split $224 million 3 ways. I think they received around $50 million after taxes. I won’t shake a stick at $50 million. Good Luck !
The pot is growing ! Once again we have a very nice Powerball Jackpot. There were no jackpot matching winning tickets sold last Saturday. The Lottery commission announced there were no winning tickets that matched the numbers and because of that we all get another chance at millions of dollars.
Saturday’s numbers were 1 – 17 – 25 – 37 – 44 – and 2o for the powerball.
This coming Wednesday will be a great day for everyone. If there is a winner, they will take home a grand prize of $400 million, or $223.6 cash option.
Powerball is a jackpot and cash game. Every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, five white balls out drawn out of a bucket with 59 balls and one red ball out of a bucket with 35 red balls.
There are 9 ways to win. The jackpot is won by matching all five white balls in any order and the red ball. The jackpot is either an annuitized prize paid over 29 years or a lump sum. Ticket cost is $2. If the winner chooses the annuity, the annual payment will be increased each year by the percentage set out in the Powerball game rules.
The second prize is $1,000,000 paid in cash and any time you match the red Powerball, you win. The odds of winning a are approximately 1 in 32. RWR25UJ6J49P
I DID ! I actually went in on a small pool with a few guys from work. Nothing big, just 12 tickets. But I also bought 10 tickets of my own on the side. Work pool lotto buy ins are the way to go. You gotta be careful about which guy keeps the tickets though. He’s gotta be trust worthy. If you keep the amount of people who participate in the pool small, there will be plenty of dollars to go around if you win.
I’m planning on testing out the Lottery Crusher software soon. I’ve ready really good reviews on it. Hopefully it will give me the edge I need to win at all the different types of lotteries.
If I win, this may be my last post. If not, I’ll post my results.
Here are the Power ball Winning Numbers for 8-3-13.
There were no Jackpot winners !! Which means someone is going to win it big.
